Anisha Acharya is a film editor whose work spans fiction and documentary. She graduated from the American Film Institute with an MFA in Film Editing, where her thesis film “Day One”, a war drama-thriller, was nominated for an Academy Award.
Her credits include afro-futurist sci-fi musical, “Neptune Frost”, the SXSW 2024 Grand Jury and Audience Award winning comedic drama “Bob Trevino Likes It”, starring Barbie Ferreira and John Leguizamo, and the Sundance 2026 U.S. Dramatic Grand Jury and Audience Award winning drama "Josephine" starring Channing Tatum and Gemma Chan.
Anisha thrives on immersing herself in stories with nuanced characters and perspectives, and in the chase to create something of lasting value, much of which she derives from her collaborations.
